(Galloway Antiques Fairs are a family run business who organise 3 / 4 day quality, dateline, stand fitted, provincial antiques fairs and have been doing so for 15 years now.

Our antiques fairs are held in some of the country’s finest stately homes. Among these are Scone Palace in Perth, the ancestral home of The Earl and Countess of Mansfield. This is where The Stone of Scone was placed on Moot Hill, which went on to become The Crowning Place of Kings including Macbeth, Robert The Bruce and Charles 11. Alnwick Castle in Northumberland also plays host to our antiques fairs, and of course Alnwick Castle has been become even more popular thanks to Harry Potter and the Alnwick Garden. Another of our favourite venues which we have been using since we started organising fairs 15 years ago is Duncombe Park in Helmsley, North Yorkshire. Duncombe Park is the award winning home of Lord and Lady Feversham and was built in 1713. The house is set in 300 acres of dramatic parkland just 3 minutes away from the centre of Helmsley, a picturesque Yorkshire market town very popular with tourists all year round.

Visitors to our fairs will find a wide range of antiques offered for sale by nationally known and respected antiques and fine art dealers, many of whom are members of various trade associations such as LAPADA and BADA, which can assure buyers that they are purchasing items from legitimate, honest dealers. At Galloway Antiques Fairs we always try and offer the visiting public a varied and balanced choice of items to include, furniture, porcelain, silver, jewellery, glass, paintings, treen, maps and prints, oriental rugs and carpets, clocks and much more. All items at a Galloway Fair must comply with our datelines which in brief are as follows: 1910 - Furniture, barometers, clocks and treen 1950 - Paintings, silver, porcelain, glass, bronzes, lighting etc 1950 - Jewellery.

We hope we can enjoy your company at some of our fairs in the future, where a warm welcome will await you.
